Saturday's trip to Westport was a great time to watch the sea life as the salmon charters came in with full boats. The seal, gulls and anchovies all joined up together behind a skipper who was cleaning the day's catch. There were many people on the boats , however it was not the time to ask their permission to photograph. The gull actually grabbed the carcass from the seal.
What great timing to catch the gull in flight with his/her afternoon meal!

ReplyDeleteThe fish were right on the surface, f/3.5, and polarizer, with a slow shutter speed. They had electric green colored scales and hot pink gills.
