Here are some recent shots of my grandnephew's basketball game in Spokane and my granddaughter's volleyball game in Longview. I'm using a Canon 5D Mark III with an f/2.8, 70-200mm IS lens. On the basketball photos I used a shutter speed of 1/1000 sec. with an ISO of about 10,000 so the aperture varied most of the time from f/2.8 to f/3.5. With the volleyball I used a shutter speed of 1/750 sec. and Auto ISO. The noise produced at such a high ISO was terrible. Thankfully, Nik noise reduction software did the trick.
Wow nice actions shots Dick, Sure looks like they were having lot of fun. Nice to see you posting here. Keep up the good work.
