Chris, I'm no expert. I've never tried HDR, but I think these look good. Most HDR shots I see have both a specific foreground and a specific background, and your shots seem to be composed with either mostly foreground or mostly background. Maybe including a foreground and background in one shot would make the process stand out more? Also maybe it's easier in low light? I'm not sure about that at all though. I'm just basing it off other HDR photos I've seen.
They look pretty good to me... I like the Mountain and lake scenes the best. They remind me of the days of hiking at Mt. Rainier and are ture to life.
I try the first set today and posted them - It was interesting to see some of the results - - made a few camera setting errors - found it more difficult ( not to my liking) to do the wood scenes and easier (looked more vivid) by the river or lake..
There in camera HDRs - I'll have to try them in photomatix

Nice Chris, he have not played much with HDR, I should give it a try again.
